PERSONAL PROFILE
Coach Hoffman became head coach of the U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team in 2003. He was the Virginia Rush SC Director of Academy Coaching Education, Player Identification and Development in 2003.
From 2000-2002 he was head coach of the Boston Breakers Professional Soccer Club (WUSA) and from 1992-2000 he was the United States Soccer Federation Region 1 National Staff Coach.
In 2000, he was an Olympic Team Scout for the Men's Olympic Soccer Team. He was assistant coach for the Women's National Soccer Team from 1998 to 1999 and head coach of the Women's Pan American team in 1999.
Hoffman was also head coach of the U-20 Men s National Team from 1995-1997, and Assistant Coach from 1994-1995. He also served as assistant coach for the U-17 Men's National Team and U-18 Women's National Team.
From 1990-1992 he was the men's head coach, director of soccer, and associate professor in health, physical education and recreation at Fredonia State University.
Hoffman completed a master's degree in health, physical education and recreation from East Stroudsburg State University in 1977 and a bachelor's degree in health, physical education and recreation in 1972.
